The Galilee Brewery is in Kibbutz Moran, in the lower Galilee, east of Karmiel.
The man behind the brewery is Alon Riftin, a pilot who fell in love with the beer culture and the brew-pubs in his visits to the US.
He began beer brewery in 2006 when he met Avichai Greenberg, the brew-master of Carlsberg. Alon's beers have competed in prestigious contests (Samuel Adams, Long Shot and Temple Beer) and won a number of prizes.
In addition to the beers made in the brewery, the Galilee brewery has the largest variety of Israeli boutique beers in Israel.
