About the settlement / site:
A communal Moshav, established in 1958, with the first families arriving in 1960. The founders were the Yuval nucleus, a group of students of Dr. Yosef Shechter from the Reali School in Haifa.
The communal moshav is named after the ancient town of Yodfat (Yotva) whose remains are nearby.
In Yodfat there are 110 families, with approximately 260 children.
The final number of families planned: 180.
Worth seeing: Mt. Atzmon, Ancient Yodfat, The Monkey Forest.
Altitude: 446 meters.
