About the settlement / site:
A community village established in 1981 as a collective moshav. With the privatization of the means of production, it became a community village.
The source of the name: a wildflower that grows in the area.
In Rakefet there are currently 180 families, with 350 children.
The final number of families planned: 350.
The community village is located within walking distance from the regional school, the Regional Council and the Misgav services center.
Worth seeing: The Northern Hill Trail in Rakefet, opposite the community center. This is a circular trail in a beautiful landscape with 10 stations explaining different matters related to nature, updated according to the seasons of the year.
